Thomas (a Portuguese Augustinian, 1529-1582), this translation has been edited by Edward Gallagher who has written a 4 page foreword to the work followed by a short 2 page biographical note. The library markings are the usual and the dust jacket has been fastened with tape to the paste down end papers. Aside from the merciless library treatment, the interior is very clean and the binding is very good.
