Illustrated with 15 black and white photographs, one of which is the frontis piece, and 1 full page black and white drawing. Archbishop Garbett, 1875-1955, was a popular and influential Anglican churchman serving during a critical time in British history and world history for that matter. Six page index at the back. Previous owner's name on the front free end paper. The spine tips and fore corners of the boards have mild wear and the spine is faded. Otherwise, a clean interior and a sound binding. A clear and removable archival cover has been fitted.
