12mo - 18.5 x 12 cm.; 190 - (18) pp. Translated from the original French by Thérèse Plumereau and first published as "Our Lady's Fool" by the Newman Press in 1952. This newer edition by the Franciscans was revised by Rev. Bernard M. Geiger OFMCap with the addition of an Epilogue written by the author, translated by Jacqueline Bowers, and this is the fourth Prow Books printing. Sixteen pages of black and white photographs at the back. The library markings, none of which are external, are a stamp on the title page and a pocket on the inside of the back cover. The covers show some mild wear though the front cover is lightly stained both inside and outside by a spill (?) of some sort. Sticker scar on the top front fore corner. Aside from all of that the interior is clean and the binding is tight.
