Presented originally as a doctoral dissertation in philosophy in 1946 and then revised in 1947 for publication. Five page bibliography and a 6 page index. Book sellers label on the front paste down end paper and the spine tips show very mild wear, else fine. The unclipped dust jacket has minor wear to the head edge and the spine is sunned.
