Eight page introduction by Armitage followed by captioned and referenced black and white photgraphs of Frances' work in themed sections as follows: "Monumentals & Public Sculpture", "Special Works", "Persons & Personalities", "Mothers & Children, Angels, Dancers", "Drawings", "Public & Private Owners & Collectors" with the last section being a 4 page list of names. The colophon page (135) is specifically designed by Merle Armitage, as is the book itself, with the book having been printed by the Franklin Press. Frances Rich studied with Malvina Hoffman, Angel Zarrarga, Carl Miles, Alexander Iacovleff and at the Boston Museum School, the Beaux Arts Academy and Cranbrook Academy of Art. She was the daughter of Irene Rich, a silent screen star, the favourite leading lady of Will Rogers. The dust jacket has very minor wear to the spine tips and the front top fore edge corner.
