8vo - 20 x 13.5 cm.; 254 pp. Black cloth over boards with bright gilt lettering on the spine and the front board. Four page introduction by Rev. G. Stanley Russell. The first York Bible Class, affiliated with the Central Church of Toronto, was held in February of 1925 and shortly there after they were broadcast on the radio on Sunday afternoons. The collection in this book come from those ten years of addresses. Black and white photograph of the author serves as the frontispiece. Incidentally, Denton Massey is from the Massey family that owned the Massey agricultural machinery firm, later to become Massey-Harris. Signed by the author and with a flourish, on the front free end paper. The book shows wear to the externals with lightly bumped board fore corners and spine tips. The dust jacket, a rather fragile affair to begin with, is chipped at the spine ends, creased, rubbed and tape repaired on the back.; Signed by Author
