Dr. Schweitzer takes on the theories that Jesus was mentally abnormal and and refutes them. Originally written as his doctoral thesis, it was published in German in 1913, and then translated into English as "The Sanity of the Eschatological Jesus" by W. Montgomery being published in a British periodical. This newer translation, the fourth Beacon Press printing, has a 5 page index at the back.
