12mo - 18 x 11 cm.; vi - 166 pp. Brown cloth over boards with gilt lettering and decorations on the spine, blind stamped decorative borders of a leaf and scroll variety on the front and back boards. The fifth American edition from the seventeenth London edition. In a two page preface, the editor describes his (her?) labours on and affection for this work. Moderate wear to the externals, bumped and rubbed board corners, wear on the spine tips with some overall fading and slight soiling/staining. The front free end paper has been removed. The bottom margin of the back free end paper has been clipped. Moderate foxing throughout while otherwise the text is clean and the binding is solid. A clear and removable archival cover has been fitted.
