8vo - 22.5 x 15 cm.; xi - (11) - 405 pp. Very pale mauve cloth over boards with dark mauve lettering on spine. From the jacket: "In the golden age of Canadian diplomacy, during the governments of Louis St. Laurent and Lester Pearson, Escott Reid played a central role". Illustrated with 13 black and white photographs on 10 pages. Comprehensive 11 page index at the back. One small bump (more of a little ding) to the bottom front fore corner and the spine tips show a whisper of wear. Otherwise very clean and tight. The unclipped dust jacket has mild wear on the head edge with one small closed tear previously taped on the inside. Two newspaper clippings loosley laid in (in an envelope) about his receiving the 1993 Pearson Peace Medal.
