A collection of six stories around the character of a young teen, Danny, a jazz lover, growing up in the 1940's in wartime Czechoslovakia. The author was a Professor of English at the University of Toronto who left Czechoslovakia after the Soviet invasion of 1968. Light soiling on dust jacket; a clean, tight copy.
