Instructions to Young Officers: and a Placart to the Canadians.

Book Condition: Very Good in Good dust jacket

4to - 25 x 17 cm.; [2] - 106 pp. Brown buckram (faux leather finish on a fabricoid cloth) with gilt banding on spine and gilt lettering on a red spine panel. This is #317 of the Limited Edition Military Series of 700 numbered copies issued. This re-issue is taken from the second edition of the original 1780 edition. This particular copy has lightly bumped top fore corners, library number on the front free end paper, library stamps on the title page, a single library stamp on the tail margin of page 51 and a pocket on the back paste down end paper. By the way, the library is the Artillery Library for the Quebec region of Parks Canada. No external markings on the book and it is otherwise clean and tight. The unclipped dust jacket appears as though it survived a light preliminary skirmish on the Plains of Abraham - worn on the edges, especially the head edge with a removal scar of something or other on the head margin of the front panel. It has a taped on paper label on the lower spine - a library wound dressing of sorts.; Ex-Library
