A companion volume to the previously published "Traffic Lights: Safe Crossways into Modern Children's Literature from the Catholic Point of View". The book club, when it was operating, had a small office in the Empire State Building. The catalog is divided into several sections: For the pre-school child, For those under ten years, For boys and girls ten-twelve years, For boys and girls twelve-fifteen years, Boys and girls fifteen through high school, and lastly Christmas stories and poems. A comprehensive 18 page index of authors, subjects (sort of) and titles at the back. Library markings are a covered over stamp on the half title page, stamp and an inked note on the title page and pocket remains plus a thinned section on the inside of the back cover. Penciled marginalia is present next to several entries. The title is also hand lettered on the once blank spine. Mild wear to the covers and the binding is tight.; Ex-Library
