8vo - 21.5 x 14.5 cm.; 622 pp. Brown cloth over boards with lime-yellow lettering on spine and front board. The text block edges are stained the same colour as issued. First published in French as "La Bible du Dimanche" with the commentaries translated into English primarily by Rev. Walter van de Putte. The readings from all three liturgical cycles are present, A, B and C. The English scripture texts used are those of the New American Bible as issued by the Contraternity of Christian Doctrine. The final editing of the entire text was done by abbots André Aubry and Paul Guerin, Marie-Claire Negroni, and Fathers Thierry Maertens and Francois Refoule. The text is complimented by chronological tables for both Old and New Testaments, a short five page bible dictionary, the lists of readings for Sundays and feasts by calendar sequence, and four reference maps, Cannaan, Palestine, Jerusalem and the journeys of St. Paul. The book shows only mild shelf wear to the externals, otherwise it appears to have been used very little if at all.
