Mellon Lectures in the Fine Arts delivered at the National Gallery of Art in Washington in 1961. Volume 10 in the Bollingen Series XXXV. Copyrighted in 1968 by the National Gallery, this is the first Princeton paperback printing in 1980. The covers show mild edge wear and some scuffing, the interior is clean and the binding is solid. The back cover has a large crease at the top fore edge corner.
