8vo - 23.5 x 16 cm.; 370 pp. Blue cloth over boards with gilt lettering on spine. "Pepared under the auspices of the American Bureau of Industrial Research with co-operation of the Carnegie Institution of Washington". Preface by Richard T. Ely and introduction by John B. Clark. Illustrated with two photographic plates, the frontis being one of them. The contents by major subject headings are: 5 - "The Knights of Labor", 6 - "Farmers' Oganizations". Pages 139 through 370 contain guides to libraries, newspapers, books and periodicals followed by an extensive index. The head edge of the text block is trimmed and gilded while the fore and tail edges are untrimmed with many fore edge margins being unopened. Library markings are a sticker/glue stain on the lower spine, library stamps on the front free end paper and the back paste down end paper. The back board has a bow near the fore edge and the cloth is soiled. Otherwise clean with a solid binding.; Ex-Library
