16mo - 16.5 x 10.5 cm.; xvii - 141 pp. Brown card stock covers with frenched flaps and dark brown lettering on the spine and the front cover. First published in 1941, this is the first reprint. A "clear-the-air " apologia is response to the types of comments made by G. B. Shaw and H. G. Wells where the church they criticize is a parody of its true essence. Minor wear to the covers with a previous owner's name blacked out on the first page and another owner's one with date on the top of the page. Neither owner seems to have looked at the wee book very much for it shows little, if any, signs of use.
