Mother Guerin was the foundress of the Sisters of Providence in France and the of the house in Saint Mary-of-the-Woods in Indiana. Foreword by Bishop of Joseph E. Ritter of Indianapolis, introduction by John McCormick, SJ and a short historical sketch by the editior. Illustrated with 14 period black and white photographs. The covers show minor shelf wear, else the book appears to have never been used.
