8vo - 19 x 13 cm.; 167 pp. Pictorial olive green cloth done in gold, black and white with gold lettering on spine and front. The book shows mild edge wear on boards with some bumping to the lower corners. Tissue protected frontis that is an actual photograph of Fischer with reproduced signature below tipped in on the verso of the front free end paper. Text block head edge is dyed green though quite faded now. Fore and tail edges of text block are rough cut (untrimmed). Illustrations (4) are a sepia tone water-colour type drawings. The gilding is still quite bright and the cover art work shows very little rubbing. A rather nice example of the binder's craft from the first part of the century - not often in this good a condition - the book presents well. A clear and removable archival cover has been fitted.
