8vo - 21.5 x 15.5 cm.; 171 - [9] pp. Sister Josaphata (1869 - 1919) was one of the founders of the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate in the Ukraine in 1891 and this order is dedicated to apostolic work with the people of the Ukraine. Illustrated with b/w photographs plus reproductions of the 8 original paintings commisioned in honour of the centenary of the foudation of the order. The book shows slight edge wear with a creased corner on the front lower fore edge.
