Biographies of the last three crown-appointed Anglican bishops in Canada: the Right Reverend George Jehosaphat Mountain for the diocese of Quebec, the Right Reverend John Strachan for the diocese of Toronto, and the Most Reverend Francis Fulford for the diocese of Montreal. Included are 3 appendices: young gentleman educated by Bishop Strachan, Trinity College - staff, students and graduates, and deacons or priests ordained by Bishop Strachan. Tissue protected engraved frontis of the said three. All text block edges are dyed red. The spine is faded as are the margins of the boards though less so. The front hinge has a 1" tear (cloth only) in the gutter about 2" from the crown. Previous owner's bookplate on front paste down end paper and his name and address are written on the first blank preliminary.
