Leslie combats the moral relativism so common in modern social sciences by presenting authoritative ideals. He uses the Ten Commandments for this but intends that this be only a starting point. Thinking about this 50+ years later, where would one start now? The dust jacket is worn on the top edge (chips and creases) with some soiling on the front and back. The book is dust soiled on the text block head edge. Leslie was a United Church minister with a PhD from Harvard for his work on the Religious Philosophy of William James.
