Lepicier was the archbishop of Tarsus at the time of writing. This book is the result of the archbishop being asked to give a conference to the clergy of the archdiocese of Siena on the relations of the Blessed Sacrament with the Catholic priesthood. It became a labour of love and devotion concentrating on the personal relations of the priest with the Blessed Sacrament. The book concludes with seven Eucharistic hymns in both Latin and English, words only followed by a concise one page synopsis of the book. The externals show mild shelf wear, the text block head edge is darkened and as issued, it may have been dyed green to match the binding. The interior is clean and the binding is solid and sound. A clear and removable archival cover has been fitted.
