16mo - 15 x 9 cm.; 1389 - 35 - (1) pp. Black vinyl (simulated leather) with gilt lettering on the spine which is faded completely and blind stamped title and PAX symbol of the front with a zippered closure. Full colour frontis of Reuben's Crucifixion. Approbations are dated 1962 with no other dates mentioned. The scripture translation used is that of Msgr. Ronald Knox. The ordinary of the Mass (pages 626 to 720 with a ten page introductory section of prayers of preparation) is in Latin / English printed on facing pages with a rubricated text though the rubrics are printed in a small black font rather than the normal red text. There is no publisher or place of publication noted other than the missal was printed in Belgium. The text block edges are dyed red and that is dulled especially for the central section with the canon and proper of the Mass. Four marker ribbons are present and are faded nd frayed on the free ends. Some minor soiling to a few of the commonly used pages is noted. Previous owner's name is on the vrso of the front free end paper and the first blank preliminary page. Otherwise very clean with a sound and solid binding and zippered closure.
