Coloured frontis and 4 full page black and white illustrations along with chapter head pieces and the occasional smaller cut for chapter endings, 14 b/w illustrations in all. The title page shows some minor foxing as do the text block edges. Bookseller's label affixed to the back paste down end paper. Otherwise the volume is clean with a solid binding. The unclipped dust jacket is worn and chipped on the edges with a triangular piece gone from the head of the spine taking with it most of the title and author lettering. An adventure of honor that inculcates the principles of the Boy Scout Oath and Law. Foreword by James West of the Boy Scout of America in a rather nice copy with the now, quite scarce dust jacket.
