Gallagher was the first General Secretary of the Canadian Council of Churches and these lectures given at the Bloor Street United Church in Toronto by Neill were the first such delivered. Neill served as the bishop of Tinnevelly in South India and discusses the nature of missionary movements and ecumenism. There is some pen underlining on pages 3, 5, and 10. Not terribly obstrusive but 'tis there.
