12mo - 19 x 13 cm.; 218 pages plus 4 pages of publisher's adverts. Originally delivered as the Merrick Lectures at Ohio Wesleyan University in 1916, these lectures were funded to promote understanding in the general field of Experimental and Practical Religion. Jefferson was the pastor of Broadway Tabernacle in New York City and was the 17th invited guest lecturer. Book shows minor shelf wear to the covers with some scuffing on the lower back. The interior is clean and the binding is tight. The book appears to have never been used, surprising, but 'tis so.
