From July to August of 1918, a delegation of 24 Canadian newspapermen, (almost all being editors) were brought overseas by the Canadian Director of Public Information, an M. E. Nichols, to gain first hand knowledge of the war effort. This book is the one of the results. Arthur Penny (one of the delegation) was the editor of the Quebec Chronicle at the time and was responsible for thie production of this volume. The front free end paper has been removed and the front hinge is a tad wek as a result, the extremities are rubbed (corners and spine crown/heel). The Interior is clean and tight otherwise.
