12mo - 18 x 11.5 cm.; 342 - pp. Green cloth with gilt lettering on spine, now quite faded. A first edition. A variant edition has black lettering on the spine. The copyright dated 1930 is held by Rev. Eugene P. Burke. The list of other books by the same author has four and stops at "School Plays", "The Ship in the Wake" and "Ted". Minor wear to the corners and spine crown/heel with that restricted mainly to the tail edges probably due to shelf wear. The binding is tight (solid and square) and the interior is very clean. The dust jacket was originally an emerald green but is now quite faded on the spine, moderately faded on the front and mildly faded on the back. The edges of the jacket are worn at the folds and bends with small chips and nicks. The book with a jacket protector, has a very good presentation.
