This is the 2nd impression. Text head dyed same colour. Minor wear on corners with some soiling on text edges. DJ shows wear on edges with two small closed tears on top edge. This edition includes, at the back, an introduction by Alan Woods; "Russell's Philosophy - A Study of its Development. " Woods was in the process of writing a volume that was to be a technical explanation of Russell's philosophy when he died. The completed section is included.
