A brief outline of the railways in the Nottingham area and rail tours from Nottingham along with a catalogue of the 475 photographs on display at the exhibition which was held in Wollaton Hall in Nottingham, 17th May to 22nd of June in 1969. 8vo - 23 x 15.5 cm.; [14] - 141 - [5] pp. Bright yellow cloth with black lettering on spine and front. Illustrated end papers done in pale blue. Signed by Armitage in black ink on the recto of the fourth preliminary leaf as follows: "For Louis(?) Harboe from Fran Rich via Merle Armitage 1974". Fran Rich was a sculptor of some renown from the midwest and the daughter of Irene Rich of Hollywood fame. The dust jacket is edge worn with small chips to the edges and closed tears on the top edge and with a scuff in the centre of the front that has torn the paper for ~1 cm. The spine is a tad faded and there is general but very light soiling.; Signed by Author 21538
