The author approaches the subject as a practising Jungian psychotherapist and a Catholic and relates the child's psychological ability to grasp religious truths to their developmental stage. Library markings are stamps on the front free end paper, a pocket on the back free end paper and significant tape remnants on the boards' head and tail edges and matching stains on the end papers. The dust jacket shows mild edge wear, a sunned spine and tape stains on the fold over flaps.
