A wonderful book looking at the history of state / county fairs and all they mean to those of us who love them. Profusely illustrated with many period photos and individual stories of some of the well known fairs of New York state. Signed by Bligh A Dodds (one of the contributors) and warmly inscibed to a Bob McCarthy, who I believe was a "circus priest", serving as a chaplain to the circus and fair circuit.
