12mo - 17.5 x 11 cm.; 425 pp. Light brown calf on spine and quarter boards with marbled paper on boards. Marbled end papers. This is volume 2 only of the collected works and contains the sermons given during Lent from Septuagesima Sunday up to parts of some Ressurection sermons from the Triduum. Moderate wear to the externals with some foxing present and dampstain, none of which affects the text. The text is in French and has been translated from the Latin by Pere V. Perrier. Villeneuve was an Augustinian and the Archbishop of Valence. A clear and removable archival cover has been fitted. 5703
