8vo - 21.5 x 14 cm.; 114 pp. Black cloth with gilt lettering on spine. Originally published as Spiritual Considerations in 1911. A series of essays on the spiritual life as lived by professed religious (Dominicans in particular) but re-issued in a newer edition (1956) due to their large appeal to the laity in general. Minor wear to the corners and spine crown/heel with the text block edges being darkened. The dust jacket (now in a protective sleeve) is worn on the edges with chips, creases and nicks and two closed tears on the back panel at the head edge. Long considered to be a classic in its field by the author of "The Perfection of Man by Charity". 12026
