(was) . . the greatest entomologist the world has ever known. I am satisfied that his writings supply ample data for the confutation of the doctrine of evolution. This little work is a first essay in that direction". Contents: Part I - The Book of Nature and the Book of Genesis, Part II - Reason and Instinct.
