Skelly took part in a public discussion via letters and articles with various protestant clergy in what became known as the "Church Unity Discussion" in 1919 in Seattle. The discussion grew out of an Episcopal Church sponsored "Federation of the Churches Movement" on the local level which was part of the larger "Interchurch World Movement". Fr. Skelly responded to the many and varied attacks on and misunderstandings of the Catholic Church and its doctrines. The book is a collection of the letters, articles, responses, most of which appeared in the Seattle Post Intelligenc er. The hinges (inner) are starting while the externals show mild shlef wear. the text paper is age browned while the interior is clean and the binding is solid. 19648
