4to - 26 x 17.5 cm.; [8] - 104 - [2] pp. Textured black cloth (faux alligator leather) over thin boards with gilt titling on the front only. This is publication #10696 from Schirmer with no date given though probably turn of the century. An Oratorio based on several scripture passages though also including two hymns, one by Bonar and the second by Neale along with three verses from the Te Deum and a verse from Milton. Scored for a variety of voices (bass, tenor, soprano, mezzo-soprano, contralto, treble, alto) and a full choir with smaller choruses. Previous owner's name on the front free end paper and on the top of page 1, the first full page of music. The pages show mild age toning, a small tear in the front end paper hinge and the externals show moderate wear to the corners and spine tips (rubbed and worn). The gilt lettering is quite bright. 19750
