An unaccredited translation from the Spanish edition of 1955 which was based on the saint's own writings from 1859. Essentially this volume keeps what the author calls the 'Narrative and Explanation' with some elements from the 'Harmony' being kept in so as to provide for continuity. Previous owner's name blind stamped on the front free end paper with a seconfd name blacked out on the same and also on the title page. Otherwise clean with a mildly shaken binding. The externals show mild wear (gently bumped and worn corners) and the spine head has small tears or pulls. The gilt lettering is still bright.
