8vo - 21.5 x 14 cm.; 291 pp. Orange cloth with black lettering on spine. Previous owner's name on ffep. Minimal wear to extremities though the spine is a tad browned as are the text edges. This is a book club edition and the pages are browned about 1/2" in from all open edges. DJ (in Brodart cover) is rubbed and soiled with edge wear (chips, creases and closed tears) . From the DJ front, "An inspiring analysis of the basic qualities that make Catholicism a warm and reassuring faith." How our usage of words has changed in even 50 years. Be that as it may, this volume served as a good introduction to Catholicism especially to those who already lead rich and worthwhile lives which hopefully is all of us.
